You can request deletion of your VoidRift account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains what is removed, what we are legally required to keep, and how to submit your request.
What gets deleted
When a deletion request is actioned, we remove or irreversibly anonymise:
- Your login credentials and email address.
- Your pilot profile, display name, and profile images.
- Your gameplay data — ships, inventory, vault, progress, and in-game history tied to your account.
- Linked third-party identifiers (e.g. Google, Apple, or Discord sign-in links).
- Push-notification device tokens and notification preferences.
What we may retain
A limited set of records is kept for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance, in line with our Privacy Policy:
- Payment and transaction records, for the period required by South African tax and accounting law (currently 5 years).
- A minimised record of a closed account, for up to 24 months, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
- Server logs, typically for up to 90 days unless needed for an ongoing investigation.
Note that an active paid subscription is not refunded by deleting your account — see our Refund Policy.
Request deletion
To request deletion, either sign in and submit the request from this page (or from Settings → Delete account), or email us and we'll take care of it:
